Our initial sessions will be dedicated to outline the goals that you want to achieve, and what some of the obstacles or overwhelming emotions are, to create a personalised plan that fits your unique needs and find fulfilment.

Everyone has a set of lenses we see the world through. I’ll work closely with you to help identify your thinking patterns, and create awareness around your triggers and adversity, so that you have the necessary handles you need to reach a state of lightness and abundance.

Self work is more than a coaching conversation. I’ll be guiding you toward other helpful practices such as somatic exercises, and connecting with your emotions. Our approach integrates powerful questions with solution-building, to help you achieve your goals at a comfortable pace.

Coaching is about asking inquiring questions about your feelings, thoughts, behaviours, and events that happen in your life, to create awareness and perspectives so that you can find the answer within yourself, and co-create a solution that works best for you.

Every client seeks to achieve different results through life coaching. While we do not guarantee results through coaching, we have helped countless people make new discoveries, and together with them, identified solutions that have had sustainable impact on their lives.

Every of these professions have powerful skillsets that vary, even within the same discipline. And within those, they may even have interchangeable skillsets.
Consultants or counsellers tend to give handles, answers or tips on how you can take action or get a certain result. A Life Coach doesn’t give answers; we ask questions so you are more aware of your own patterns or habits.

Your information is kept completely confidential. Coach-client confidentiality is one of the hallmarks of an ICF-certified. Regardless of social circles or common contacts, no other individuals or groups will be privy to the contents of our conversations.

You can consider life coaching as a parallel to fitness coaching. The number of sessions is tailored to the results you want to see. Ultimately, the decision must be one that you are most comfortable with.

Each life coaching session is between 45-90 minutes. The first session will be slightly longer, to cover some of the foundations of life coaching and setting expectations.

We can meet through Zoom or at a place that is convenient and conducive for you to have a private conversation. Ideally, it should be quiet enough to have a conversation where we can hear each other clearly. Another consideration is how safe you feel - some clients feel safe in a cafe setting, while others prefer more privacy.

Once the inquiry is received, the coach will contact you to set up a face to face meeting, phone call, or Zoom meeting.

Teaching and educating usually comes with a set of content that they want to impart to you - “I know what you need to know”. There is a start and an end point in consuming content. Life coaching has no end; everyone starts at a different point, and based on the doors we open to explore, the end points might also be different.

Joel is a trained life coach from a ICF-approved institute. He has also taken personal development courses and profiling tools - such as DISC, Enneagram and Strengthsfinder.

The number of sessions depends on the amount of topics you want to work on, and how complex it is. It can also vary depending on the level of readiness and willingness you have in examining the issues that surface.

Having a conversation with you weekly is most ideal because every event that happens is being interpreted by a certain lens. The more events we can unpack, the more frequent we will be able to address stuck emotions you experience. Nevertheless, you decide how frequent you would like it to be. Some clients prefer weekly, fortnightly, or monthly check-ins. Anything more than a monthly conversation might hinder the results you want to see.

You have the option of using Zoom (or other platforms) to have a conversation. It works just as well.

The coaching fees for a 90-min session is $200. If you need to have a conversation but do not have the financial means, you can still submit an inquiry and I will have a conversation with you to assess the possibilities and how I can help you.
